At the core of Lake Area Improvement Corporation’s mission is the unwavering desire to enhance the quality of life for community residents. Recognizing that access to childcare is a critical piece of infrastructure supporting the workforce, LAIC has formulated an innovative solution involving public and private partnerships to provide the community with this facility.

 Nearly 15,000 square feet of space will support the growth and development of 140 children ages birth to five years. Embe of Sioux Falls is partnering with LACI as operator of the facility. The design is organized to be safe, engaging and meet the evolving needs of working parents and their children.

 With school readiness in mind, the center will be equipped to offer pre-school education in the classrooms for ages three to five. Access to an elementary sized gymnasium will further support younger ages in the community with evening and weekend availability.

 The playful forms welcome families to a facility that will serve as an anchor in supporting growth and development in the Madison community for years to come.
